Planning your day trip
Can we spend more time in one of the two cities?+
Yes. You divide the day as you like: some clients see Ghent in a brisk morning to linger in Bruges, others do the opposite. You can also add a detour to the village of Damme, a few kilometres from Bruges, or a boat trip on the canals. Tell us your priorities and the itinerary will follow.
Is the day trip suitable for families?+
Very much so. Our Van and Van Business take up to seven passengers, pushchair included, and child seats are fitted on request when you book. Breaks are up to you: waffles in Ghent, a boat trip in Bruges, or an early return if the youngest are flagging — the day is yours.
Does the driver come with us into the historic centres?+
No: the hearts of Ghent and Bruges are best explored on foot, and your driver is not a certified guide. They drop you as close as possible to the pedestrian zones, stay reachable by phone or WhatsApp during your visits and meet you at the agreed spot, at whatever time suits you, with your purchases already safe in the boot.
