Brussels Expo: a chauffeur for exhibitors and visitors
At Heysel, a trade fair also plays out beyond the exhibition floor: leaving the hotel before opening time, meeting a client at the airport, dinner in town. Our Wemmel base is just a few minutes from the halls.
Exhibitors: two journeys a day, sometimes more
For an exhibitor, the day begins before the doors open to the public and ends after closing, not counting the build-up and breakdown days. The same times come round each day, and so do the same teams: exactly what a scheduled shuttle handles best. A Van Business runs between your hotel and the hall housing your stand, every morning and every evening of the fair, with up to six colleagues on board.
The Heysel plateau is vast. Brussels Expo has a dozen halls arranged around Place de Belgique, where the visitor entrance is, opposite Palais 5, the large Art Deco building constructed for the 1935 International Exhibition. Other entrances open onto Avenue de l'Impératrice Charlotte, Avenue de Madrid or, on the Grimbergen side, Chaussée Romaine. Tell us your hall and the access instructions you have received from the organiser: the drop-off point depends on them.
If you drive yourself, the usual answer is Parking C, several thousand spaces linked to the halls by a footbridge and accessible from the Ring. Convenient for a visitor dropping in, far less so for an exhibitor leaving at closing time with two clients to drive back. With a chauffeur, you step out in front of your hall, and the car comes back at the agreed time or stays on call nearby.

Your clients, from the airport to the stand
A trade fair is often about hosting. For an important buyer, the welcome starts at Brussels Airport: the flight tracked live, your guest's name on a sign at baggage reclaim, luggage carried to the car. The drive to Heysel is short, and your guest arrives at the stand refreshed, without having queued for a taxi. In the evening, the same car takes them to the restaurant, then to their hotel.
For these guests, the Business sedan (Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series or similar) seats three passengers; the Prestige class (S-Class or 7 Series) is available on quotation. Our chauffeurs are multilingual, an asset with international clients. And if a client arrives by Eurostar at Brussels-Midi, they are met at the station, then the car crosses the city to the Heysel plateau.
Wemmel and Heysel, next-door neighbours
Our head office is in Wemmel, a Flemish municipality bordering north-west Brussels, right next to Heysel. That proximity matters when plans change during the day: a colleague who needs to get back to the hotel early, a meeting that has been moved, an extra guest to collect. A single contact coordinates these adjustments, from the first build-up day to the last breakdown lorry.
Throughout the year, the halls host very different events: the Motor Show and the BRAFA art fair early in the year, Batibouw for building and renovation, the Brussels Furniture Fair for the furniture trade, and Dentex, the dental show held every two years. Between days on the stand, the Atomium, right next to the halls, makes a good photo stop for visiting guests.

Our team is staying in a hotel for the whole fair: how do we organise the journeys?+
In your quote request, give the dates of the fair, build-up and breakdown included, the times you need, the number of people and the hotel address. The team then suggests the right vehicle, from a Van Business for six colleagues to several cars for a larger delegation, and draws up a rotation schedule for you to approve before the first day. If a time changes during the fair, a simple message is all it takes.
Where does the chauffeur drop off at Brussels Expo?+
Usually at Place de Belgique, where the visitor entrance is, opposite Palais 5. Depending on which hall your fair is in, another gate may be more convenient: Avenue de l'Impératrice Charlotte, Avenue de Madrid or Chaussée Romaine. For exhibitors, build-up days are sometimes subject to specific access rules set by the organiser: send them with your request and the chauffeur will follow them.
A client is arriving by Eurostar at Brussels-Midi: can you bring them to the stand?+
Yes. The chauffeur meets your client at the station when the train arrives, then crosses the city to Heysel by whichever route is flowing best at the time. At rush hour, crossing Brussels takes considerably longer: allow a margin if a meeting is scheduled at the stand. The return journey to the station or to Brussels Airport can be booked at the same time.
Can we keep the same car for a whole day at the fair?+
Yes, by booking the chauffeur by the hour, on quotation, for half a day or the whole day. Between journeys, the chauffeur parks nearby, depending on which car parks are open that day, and stays within reach. This option lets you fit in meetings in town between sessions on the stand, take a client back to the airport in mid-afternoon, then bring the whole team back to the hotel after closing.
