Wedding chauffeur: the big day, journey by journey
Town hall, ceremony, photo shoot, reception, late-night rides home: a wedding is one journey after another. Each has its own vehicle, timing and passengers, and we plan them all with you.
Morning: each party in its own car
The day often starts at two addresses: the bride at one, the groom at the other, each surrounded by family and friends. For the couple, a Business sedan (E-Class, 5 Series, Audi A6 or equivalent) or, on quotation, a Prestige car such as an S-Class or 7 Series. The witnesses and parents travel in the Van Business, whose six seats face each other, so that they arrive together and on time.
In Belgium, the civil wedding must take place before any religious ceremony, and many couples hold both on the same day: the town hall in the morning, then a religious or secular ceremony. That means two carefully timed journeys, with waiting during each ceremony and a few minutes of congratulations outside. The chauffeur is booked by the hour and knows how the day will unfold before even setting off.

Afternoon: photos and guest shuttles
Between the ceremony and the drinks reception, many couples set aside time for a photo shoot: a park, a château, the shores of a lake. The couple's car follows the photographer and waits at each stop. Meanwhile, the guests need to get to the reception venue, sometimes outside Brussels, for example around Lake Genval, about half an hour from the city centre.
Not everyone has a car, especially guests coming from abroad or staying in a hotel. A Van carries seven people per trip: depending on the number of guests, we arrange successive runs or several vehicles at once, so that everyone arrives before the drinks. For the youngest guests, a seat suited to their weight can be booked with the journey.
Night: everyone gets home safely
The party goes on, and this is often when transport matters most. Rather than letting guests get back behind the wheel after dinner, plan group returns at set times, for example a first departure around midnight for families and a second at the end of the evening. The stops on each run, hotels or homes, are set out in the quote, based on a list of addresses drawn up in advance.
The newlyweds leave the reception whenever they choose, heading for their hotel room or home. If the honeymoon starts the next day at Brussels Airport, the transfer can be booked in the same request, as can the one for your return, with flight tracking. Guests who have travelled a long way can also be taken to the airport or the station the following morning, suitcases and memories included.
What to include in your quote request
The more precise your request, the more accurate the schedule. Give the date, the address of each stop, the ceremony times, the number of guests to be driven and where they will be leaving from. For any special request, such as a symbolic detour or an unusual time, describe what you have in mind: the team will tell you what can be arranged, and on what terms.

How long does the couple's chauffeur stay with us?+
As long as the quote provides for. The couple's car is booked by the hour, often from leaving home until arrival at the reception, sometimes until you leave at the end of the evening. If the day overruns, you can ask your contact for an extension, subject to availability at the time. So it is best to allow plenty of time from the outset, especially when a photo shoot falls between the ceremony and the drinks reception.
How many shuttles should we plan for our guests?+
Start by counting the guests who will not have a car: those staying in a hotel, those arriving from abroad, those who would rather not drive. Each Van has seven seats. For around thirty guests, we combine several vehicles running in parallel or successive runs, depending on the distance between the ceremony and the reception and the time set aside for the drinks reception.

That is the case for many couples, since in Belgium the civil wedding must precede the religious ceremony. The couple's chauffeur remains at your disposal all day, dropping you at the town hall, waiting during the ceremony, then driving on to the second venue. Allow some time between the two for photos on the steps and congratulations from family and friends.
Some of the family are flying in the day before: who takes care of them?+
A chauffeur sent to Brussels Airport or Charleroi: each flight is tracked in real time, and your guests spot their name on the chauffeur's sign as soon as they leave baggage reclaim, before heading to their hotel. Our chauffeurs are multilingual, which is reassuring for family discovering Belgium for the first time. The return to the airport, the day after the celebration, can be planned in the same request.
